To ring in 2018, Back Forty Beer Company in Gadsden is launching a series of monthly beer dinners at the brewery. All four courses are developed by the in-house test kitchen to pair well with different Back Forty beers. January’s dinner brings together hearty winter flavors like a beef and barley stew paired with their Truck Stop Honey Brown Ale. —Clair McLafferty

 

January Menu

1st Course: ​Winter Salad​ paired with Paw Paw's Peach Wheat Ale, mixed greens, roasted beets, ​pomegranate, roasted garlic cloves, pecans, blue cheese crumbles and a citrus vinaigrette

2nd Course: Beef & Barley Soup paired with Truck Stop Honey Brown Ale, shredded beef and roasted root vegetables 

​3rd Course: Mushroom Risotto and Pork Loin paired with Naked Pig Pale Ale, mushroom risotto, pork loin and roasted asparagus

4th Course: Bourbon Glazed Bread Pudding paired with Peanut Butter Porter
