Huntsville's Christkindlmarket showcases German Christmas tradition.

On Dec. 9, get an authentic taste of German Christmas tradition at the Christkindlmarket in Huntsville. Drink gluhwein (traditional mulled wine) or sit down for some German street food from Hildegard’s Biergarten. Other vendors will be on hand selling traditional European desserts and baked goods. To give back, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation will be on-site collecting toys for children in need. —Clair McLafferty
