Bellingrath Gardens Winter Camellia & Cold Hardy Annual Displays
Winter doesn't damper the blooms at Bellingrath Gardens and Home in Theodore. In January and February, the 65-acre Southern estate garden grows more than 400 varieties of camellias, Alabama’s State Flower. The annual winter garden also includes cold-hardy plants such as ornamental kale, tulips, daffodils, pansies, primroses and more. Actual bloom dates vary depending on the severity of the winter.
