Huntsville Beer Week
This year, the eighth annual Huntsville Beer Week kicks off on January 19. Founded in 2011 to celebrate the Rocket City’s beer scene, this event is managed and put on by the local chapter of Free The Hops, a craft beer consumer advocacy organization. With events ranging from tap takeovers, beer pairings, educational events and the Von Brewski Beer Festival, this week truly showcases Huntsville’s thriving beer scene. The festival also coincides with Downtown Huntsville's Winter Warmer Week, which involves beer pairing dinners and tap takeovers. —Clair McLafferty
