The Market at Pepper Place

Snack on a sausage biscuit and sip on a bottle of kombucha while shopping for goat's milk soap, foraged mushrooms and gourmet salsas at The Market at Pepper Place. This year-round Birmingham market only sells goods made and grown within a 200 mile radius. 

The market has been connecting Alabama small farmers, food and drink purveyors and artisans with the Birmingham community since 2000. Every Saturday morning, more than 100 vendor tents cover Pepper Place's parking lots and surrounding streets, oftentimes attracting 10,000 people in a single day.

A smaller, indoor market will be open every Saturday until April 7. Then on April 14, the market will transition outside for the spring and summer months.
