Born and raised in Mobile, Ala., she spent a lot of time on the water and eating at the best restaurants in town. She received a B.S. in agricultural communication from Auburn University in 2016, and then interned at Blackberry Farm, one of the South's finest luxury resorts. She returned to Mobile to work for Auburn's Ornamental Horticulture Research Center, but will soon return to Blackberry Farm to work in its James Beard Award-winning restaurant, The Barn at Blackberry Farm.
