Pumpkins

October is the time for pumpkin patches, corn mazes and candy apples. In addition to those goodies, there are plenty of vegetables, fruits and seafood coming into their peak season in Alabama this month. Look for these at your local farmers market, fish monger or U-Pick. October is also the start of deer-hunting season.
